Hello! I went to an Italian genealogy class at my Family History center at the woman in charge highly recommended this forum.
Anyway, I could use some assistance. I've been learning Italian piecemeal for the last couple years, and I hit a big cache of documents when my grandfather passed away. A lot of them are very easy to translate, they are simply bureaucratic forms but I have one from my great-great-great grandmother which seems different - it looks like it might be a church funeral announcement?
If someone could check my translation work, I would greatly appreciate it. I have posted what I think it is in English, what I think it says in Italian, and the original file is attached to this post.
Today at 12 Wed., after long and painful illness borne with Christian resignation, bearing spiritual counseling, ascended Da Re Angela Franco 69 years Her husband Giacomo Franco, children Giovanni, Antonio, Luigi and Dominico, daughters Luigia, Pasqua and Adele, sisters and brothers-in-law and family, grandchildren and relatives will all grieve the sad announcement, Lord, a prayer asking for the beloved deceased. S. Andrea, July 20, 1927 The funeral will be on Thursday 21 July at 18 in the Curaziale of S. Andrea.

Il marito Franco Giacomo, i figli Giovanni, Antonio, Luigi e Domenico; le figlie Luigia, Pasqua e Adele, la sorella e cognati, nuore e generi, nipoti e parenti tutti ne donno addolorati il triste annunzio, chiedendo una prece per l'amata Estinta.
S. Andrea, 20 Luglio 1927
I funerali seguirano Giovedi 21 Luglio alle ore 18 nella Curaziale di S. Andrea.

Excellent! Thank you! I always wonder about these things, given the family doesn't speak Italian anymore. Its good to be on the right track!
My dad and I were trying to decide the right word in English for "spirava", which our book translates to "breathed", which we didn't think made much sense so we temporarily used ascended ("asceso").
