It appears they were from Serra San Bruno (which by the way is beautiful), once a part of Cantanzaro but now in Vibo Valencia. I'll try a do a bit of digging and see if I can help at all.

Congrats! I loved Rome but haven't been there in so long I wouldn't even know where to suggest. But whatever you decide BE CAREFUL since it can be quite unsafe there now.

Personally I wouldn't have sent it first class. I find that it doesn't take that much longer to get there - in fact I think the last thing I mailed took 9 days. It takes like 7 to the US. Otherwise ...
