For those of you researching ancestors from Podargoni and/or Schindilifà (RC), please visit www.podargoni.it, where you will find something new has been added. Dan Colasanti Sr. has researched thousands of records (over 7,000) related to Podargoni and Schindilifà; and after almost a year and half of gathering information, has produced two excel files full of information (birth, marriage & death) from the period 1809 - 1910. Podargoni and Schindilifà are municipalities located in the Aspromonte mountain range of Calabria, Italy.
These files of 20 spreadsheets each (one in English and one in Italian) are located at the bottom of the home page on the website and are at your disposition for researching your ancestors from these two towns. Feel free to inform family and friends of this treasure trove. fyi--When you enter each excel file, the opening page may not be at the beginning; therefore, make sure you start at the "introduction" in order to read the full instructions.
