Toward the end of the Sunday service, the Minister asked this question, 'How many of you have forgiven your enemies?'

80% held up their hands.

The Minister thought that perhaps not everyone had heard the question so he repeated it. This time all responded, except for one small elderly lady.

'Ah, Miss Joyce...are you not willing to forgive your enemies?'

'I don't have any,' she replied, smiling sweetly.

'Miss Joyce, that is surely very unusual...may I ask how old you are?'

'Ninety-eight.' she replied.

'Oh...I wonder...would you mind coming down in front here where we can see you & tell us all how a person can live ninety-eight years & not have an enemy in the world?'

So the little sweetheart of a lady tottered down the aisle, faced the congregation, and said in a firm voice & with much pride:

'I outlived the bitches.'
