This is a typical Piedmont dessert. It's the easiest thing to prepare and it's ready in 5 minutes. If you serve it at the end of a dinner, your guests (or your husband/wife) will think you are just wonderful.
The video says you need a copper pan but I always used a double saucepan.
You can use any kind of wine, i.e.: Moscato, Prosecco, Spumante etc. A variation is with coffee and for children you can use just milk.

Buon Appetito

OMG..this sounds like a little bit of heaven! I think I just gained 10 pounds watching that!

Something must be wrong with my today because I can't get my mind off sweets and chocolate. Carole just mentioned chocolate and I had to go grab three Ferrero Rocher! Thanks Ada. I knew I liked you! Wink

Do let me know if you liked it.

Zabaione is well known in Italy and I'm surprised that people abroad don't know it.

You must read this.....could be a suggestion!

Hey Ada,

You're teaching 'this lot' some really bad habits now - and giving away all our secrets too!!!

But it's true folks - if you've never tried it - then zabaglione is going to be a real treat for you... all-be-it a treat with at least a trillion, zillion calories in every spoonful!!!

So bear in mind folks, that after tasting/eating it your going to be doing this....

and this

Don't say I didn't warn you!!!!!

Carole,
this is what I was trying to keep secret! Anyway they all have a lot of snow over there and skiing and shoveling snow are good exercises...
You have a lot of snow up there so have a couple of spoonfuls too.... I still have some snow left in the garden but today it's raining and it will melt away so I don't need energy!

Ciao Ada

The snow is still laying in my garden and on the terrace too... the temp isn't going above -1 so the mountains are still showing a light cover right down to ground/lake level.

It's cold and dank here - and there are rumours of more snow from Sunday. But it's still nowhere near as long (or as deep) as the winter of 2005/6). Then it was 5ft deep in my village from late November until the end of February and finally cleared in late March! Now that really WAS a winter and a half

That looks amazing Billie. Oh I can't wait to try it. As soon as Lou feels better with his stomach, he's getting that. Smile

It was delicious nuccia and so easy to make. I used a double boiler as Ada suggested (I don't have a copper bowl) and it worked just fine. That Marsala wine really adds a nice little kick! Tell Lou to hurry up with his stomach so you can spoil the family with this!

Happy to hear you enjoyed it!!! It looks veeeery nice. It could be a good and energetic breakfast if you use cooffee (what's the spelling??Don't have time to check on dictionary..may be "coffee") instead of Marsala.
Anybody ready for TIRAMISU' recipe?

Oh ... I LOVE Tiramisu'. Please do post it. kiss

BTW... My cousin married a lady from Genoa, and she says Tiramisu is supposed to be an aphrodisiac. Was she pulling my leg?
