We had a brick/pizza oven built in our backyard recently (wasn't my idea - I still can't find the kitchen). Is it a wood burning oven like this one in the background where the bread/pizza is placed on the hot stone base?

Or is it an 'oven' like this where the food is on a metal grill like a barbeque?

I ask because recipes are usually specific for the stone based wood burning ovens!
