Thanks Liz,

Are the names stored in a table? The alignment is off since many of the Comuni require extra lines --- Can the center column be expanded?

Okay, I just "played" around with the width of the center table and hopefully it looks better for you Smile Let me know if it is better.

The problem is that we all have, not only different screen widths and text size (mine is set to "medium" and I know some people have their text set to "Larger" due to vision problems, so that can screw up the intended look, lol), but may also have different browsers...I have IE and it looks just dandy in my screen. Nuccia has a different browser (I think she said she uses Firefox) and she was seeing it totally different than I was Shocked

Me not being a tech whiz, I wouldn't even know where go to do that or how to test a page to be seen by everyone as I intend it to be seen Neutral

Liz..

Everything lines up now except for the "M" section. I tested it on IE and Firefox and it views the same. Lets see what the others say now.

I really don't know what to do about the fact that you see it different in your computer... I see no distortion whatsoever, so it would be hard for me to know what you see Shocked

Maybe screen resolution is the problem as to why we all see it differently??? *pulls hair out*

Hi Liz,

I am researching the following names:

In Modica, Ragusa, Sicily:
Barone
Scarso
di Raimondo
Frasca

In Fossato Ionico, Montebello Ionico, Reggio Calabria:
Aquilino
Mercurio

I'm sure there will be more to come as I delve further into my research!

*NOTE: Surnames Added

JB5150,

I just noticed this post and have been so busy that neither Liz nor I added your names to the surname database. We'll get them added in this week...sorry about that.

The Surname Database is an ongoing project, so please feel free to add the surnames you are researching (if you have not done so already, of course) in this section. I will be adding them as they are posted, ok.

...and remember to come back whenever a new surname pops up in your research, so it can be added to the list!! Wink

Thank you!

Liz, I suggest that you edit the very first post and put the correct link to the database.

I had to read most of the topic before finding the correct link...
