I thought you might like to see these 9 photos (NOT mine) of the situation here in the area where I live following incessant rain and storms over the last 72 hours. (They are due to continue for another 3 days!) One low storm was overhead for nearly 8 hours, unable to get over the mountains and move on! There have been several large landslides too....
N.B. The mountain on the left in No.5 is where I live!
We have one of the many rescue helicopter bases in our village and they haven't stopped for days... Two left not five minutes ago - hope they will be successful in whatever they're off to do.

Carol, how terrible. I hope you and your home remain okay. Living in Georgia, US we could sure use some of that rain with the drought going on. But, not too much...........

That's just awful Carole. Just what is happening to our world today. There are so many disasters reported linked to the changes in weather. I just had a letter from Newzealand this morning and they said the weather there is the worst they have had for years: cold, hard frost,high winds and snow.
I just pray that your immediate area will be safe.
