Sometimes I think we'll never know what the real spelling of certain surnames really was/is. Just like with the Volpentesta/Volpintesta surname, I have come across spelling issues with the supposedly
Tallarico surname which within the same family can be found spelled as
Talerico! And this is BEFORE the family name arrives in the United States, so there is no way we can blame the immigration workers here! LOL
[BTW, once in the USA, the Tallarico surname varied from Talarico to Tilrico
