I have two documents that were in Part II 1886 births.
The first document states the first name and surname then
gia and another surname. I looked up gia and the meaning is - already. So after reading the document I still do not know if the first surname is the correct surname or if the surname after gia is the correct surname.
Could someone please read the document and let me know which name is the correct name to use?
(I'm assuming when the child was born it was under one surname and now the child is going by a different surname)

This document was also in the 1886 Part II births which I found odd. It looks like a document for marriage and the girl getting married has the same situation as my first document. Her first name is given her surname then
invece and another surname.
I know invece means instead of but I'm a bit confused as to why. Again....is this a situation where the girl was born with one surname and then for some reason it was changed? Which surname is correct for her? And last........there are 11 more documents with this persons particular Part II birth (?) so was this all done as part of an allegati for a marriage between these two people?
Document 2
I'm hoping someone will be able to look at this for me. Sorry the post is so long.
