My father and other boys from Rotzo were sent to a orphanage in Lonigo Province of Vicenza some time after ww1, we do not know what age he was when he went there but he was born in 1914.
The name of the orphanage was San Daniele?.
I am after some information on this orphanage and if they have any records.
The girls were sent to another orphanage in another town.

Hi,
orphanages, as they were in the past, have been closed. Children are now followed in other ways. Records are usually kept in the Province State Archives. I think you can try with Archivio di Stato di Vicenza, same address as for military records.
