I had a good day at FHC today. Just wanted to confirm that this is the birth announcement for Gaspare Dragotto--Ignazio's oldest son.

Thanks, Luca. I made a few other discoveries including using my camera to photograph the documents from the microfilm. I also ordered the Allegati for 1850 as you indicated I might find a Bingo. I'll have to wait patiently for 3 weeks for the films I ordered to arrive.

One other discovery was the birth announcement of my great grandmother, Giuseppa Mazzola.

I misread that last one, Luca; however, she is still in the family
I just found this as I was reviewing the photos I took the other day. I unable to read well enough to be certain if this is the Filippa Benigno that I am searching for.

Not clear at all
I think Filippa Giovanna Xxxx born September 28th 1829, daughter of Stefano(?), 35, land-owner, and Giovanna Rizzi, 34, baptized September 29th(?).

Thanks, Luca. How about Filippa Giovanna Vincenza Benigno? I'll have to improve on my photography.
This one is confusing. What is the father's surname? I'm stumbling on the "Pietro Mazzola di Gaetano".

Si, Filippa Giovanna Vincenza can match (spero l'espressione sia corretta!)

Filippa Benigno matches but I think it is the wrong Filippa according to this record.

I only did refer to the third name of Filippa that i didn't understand and that you, rightly, told me being Vincenza.
I too think this isn't your Filippa, 'cause she is daughter of Pietro (not Stefano).

I found a few more puzzle pieces yesterday and my camera technique has improved; however, I need confirmation on some of the information, especially the names and ages. This is my grandmother's grandparents. My grandmother was born in San Giuseppe Jato but her father's family was from Belmonte.

Thanks, Luca. Could that be Rosario and not Biagio? I found a few more challenges and more encouraging hints. I may have to post more later.
