Hi All,
I found this baptism for a baby, the child of my 10th-great grandparents. It is the bottom entry on the page.

I was wondering especially about the words right after the mother's first name. It looks like Santa Lucia to me? Would that be her maiden name? The other records I have found either give no last name or group her with her husband.
Thanks for the help in advance!

This is what I'm able to read (not too much, alas):
a 13 di ap(ri)le XII Indictione(?) 1599
Io D(on) Benedetto Rametta Arciprete
di Castig(lio)ne battizzai lo figlio di
Barnaba di ... et Artimilla(?)
Santalucia jugali, nato nell'...
detto ... ANtonino, la comare fu
Barthola Testa et la mamana
Betta Campi.

Thanks Cathy! I just was very lucky that my comune's church records were filmed, none of the surrounding towns seem to have been. The next step will be the Riveli records...they go into the 1400's but I am afraid to make that jump yet!
I wish I could do what you have on your Mom's side, that is an amazing family tree! You are related to like half of the world!
