I finally received the SS application for a grandfather of mine. I was complaing a while back that I had submitted 5 or 6 requests for searches relating to family members where I did not have a SS #. I did this about 4 or 5 months ago. The long wait was miserable. I really thought they had lost or forgotten my requests.

Much to my surprise in the past few days the application copies I requested have started to come in. I am still waiting for only 1 more but it did finally happen giving me much information about my family.

So I guess, in genealogy research, patience is much required but necessary.
