What does everyone think of getting a records board here? Many of us want records, are working on and/or have questions about records. Italian records, manifests, censuses, etc. Or maybe we can call it "Cathy is back in the 1840's Italian records and cannot handle it!"

LMAO The fact is – it getting REALLY tough now. I have all these people I do not know where to put because I am missing a mother’s name or don’t know who their parents are. The Napolitano’s could have started their own town there were so many. Add the Garrafa’s, the Zingone’s, the DeLuca’s, the Arturi's and everyone else I am trying to keep track of and I think I am ready for a vacation at the funny farm. I am overwhelmed with data. I don’t know how James Bianco did it but the further back I go, the more respect I have for him. I miss him. And boy, could I ever use his advice right now! If anyone has any tips, it would be appreciated!

Records board sounds good to me.
Cathy, when I started my genealogy, I did my father in laws town first (since my husband was coming with me and I thought to perk his interest).
We only took the grandparents (all the way back) and their children. We didnt do children marriages..or uncle marriages, etc...but, I will tell you this..had we done that, I'll bet the whole town is related.

Ok, Cathy,
Skype me with what exactly you are interested in and I'll see what I can do.

You may be right Eleven. My grandfather's town is pretty big - the second largest in Cosenza Province. The whole town is not related in my case because there were so many people and I can clearly see the different classes that stuck together. Is has been pretty clear that the classes did not mix often but between these different classes they were all related. I have been treking many families, not just my own, but it is becoming clearer that all these families are related. Sometimes they are so inter-mingled it is hard to distinguish one from the other.
