That's wonderful! I know the films seem to be taking forever to come in these days. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Hi Rita!
I got your email and as I said, I am having trouble uploading images at the moment due to some Vista upgrades. Perhaps a member on the forum can help you upload them? Meanwhile, what did you what us to do with the above records?

Here is Rita's marriage document:

I think the reason you had trouble is this image is over 5 megabytes - most file hosting services will not support a file this size.

Hi Luca, I want to Thank you so much for translating Anna's document in Latin and Italian! I appreciate your hard work. Unfortunately I think I understand the date as January 3,1920 in the Comune of Belpasso but nothing else. I'm sorry, I don't mean to disapoint you, I wish I was taught to learn Italian. I hope someone wouldn't mind to translate Italian for me. Thank you. ~ Rita

Don't worry: the L-C team is coming ( )
Luca
P.S.
I think that everyone who wants to know his/her italian roots must apply him/herself to learn this language.
I did never study latin at school because it wasn't in my curriculum (btw:: curriculum is a latin word! And the same for P.S: post scriptum!) but my love for genealogy was so strong that I was "obliged" to do it (not so well, really, but enough to understand the document I have in my hands). It hasn't the same fascination to read a "nude" born date and to read the whole doc
Sorry for the digression

I did study Latin for four years, but hey - I was only eleven years old when I started. At fifteen I had the choice to keep one of the two languages I was doing. Suffice to say it was NOT Latin...I honestly loathed it! I chose to continue for another two years with French - most of which (like the Latin) I forgot the minute I left school at 18 and went on to further studies at college!

This is the real problem of latin. A boy of 15 isn't able to find a reason to love it! But, now, I want to ask you: where did you find the bravery to study french? ( ) (like every real italian does, I don't love to much our "cousins"!!!)
