Italian Genealogy down??????

I have tried for the past couple of days to access the IG forum with no luck. Does anyone know if they are down or is it just my system?

I have tried too and it doesnt work for me either it says something about the 'connection to the database server failed -be back shortly' (but whoever or whatever it is, they must have lost their way for its taking a long time to get connected again Smile

I just checked. I get that error message about the data base. Its them..it isnt us.

The Irish site is down as well and has been for quite some time. Could be the DNS flaw that has made the tech headlines lately.

I don't even know whats going on and I think Edmondo is in Italy again. The site always goes down when hes away. I guess it gives him something to do when he gets home.

This seems to happen on a regular basis lately. IG is such an amazing resourse, the most comprehensive Italian Genealogy forum online.

Thank goodness, IG is now back up. I checked last night about 11 and no luck but I checked this A.M. and was successful.
