Looking for a Buffini that emigrated to England before 1799. I have no idea exactly when but the furthest I can trace back the Buffini tree in England is Henry Buffini born about 1799 in Aldenham, Hertfordshire (according to census) but I have no birth records. Neither can I trace any evidence of who the parents or other family members were.

The story that has passed down the generations is that the Buffini family originally came from Italy (some have said Tuscany) and I have seen on the web that there are about 30+ Buffini's livng in the Florence area,Tuscany, around 17 in the Rome area and a few in Sienna. It does therefore seem likely that the family originally came from the northern region. There are no UK passenger lists going that far back and I don't know where or how to start trying to find the link of the first Buffini to move to England. I would like to solve this mystery once and for all after at least 7 generations of rumour about Italian roots.
